The sun belongs to everyone.
So does the world.
And that's why together we're getting everything from the sun. For sustainability: from fossil energy to solar energy. For a valuable contribution to the energy transition, for the preservation of the planet in its best form. Because the world belongs to everyone. We are therefore jointly responsible for treating it well. We do that today for ourselves and tomorrow for future generations.

Our goal for
2030
Making customers completely self-sufficient in their demand for power through the sun: Solar Crew gets everything from the sun.

The crew. Craftsmen, specialists, people with a passion for technology.
The same goes for Solar Crew. So what's different at Solar Crew? Why would you want to work with us? Simply, the result and effect of the work you deliver! And, of course, "freedom. Freedom? Yes indeed! Projects are really 'your job'. But we also give you complete freedom when it comes to following courses and continuing education.
When you come to work for us, you join a company that is growing faster than Max Verstappen can drive laps at Spa-Francorchamps. Incidentally, you will not be working for us, but with us. Because cooperation is in our DNA. Finally, you contribute 100% to the energy needs of our customers and an energy-neutral Netherlands. It goes without saying that the remuneration - both primary and secondary - will be just fine. Our appreciation is high; welcome to the crew, Solar Crew.
Solar Crew. Sun suppliers est. 2012
Sustainable (solar) energy was really still in its infancy in the Netherlands. Kevin started as a one-man business working for various clients in the Netherlands and Belgium, selling solar panels. That was really the only way to get into the industry. The need for solar panels quickly took off in the Netherlands. For Kevin the signal to follow through: The one-man business became a company and Kevin quickly gathered a club of wonderful people around him. Day in, day out, installations were realized. Installations consisting of entire kits -without instructions- that they received from suppliers. In this way the 'orange/yellow' seed was planted for what would soon follow ...
Solar Crew
Where that name comes from? Solar stands for the piece of sunshine (keep it simple). Crew comes from my vision that you can make the best and most beautiful things as a team. In other words, with the people you work with every day. With 'my' company a name was quickly made. We were somewhat known as that 'beautiful club' of people working on solar energy. The 'orange/yellow' seed quickly became a sizeable tree. I would be lying if I said that I knew beforehand that we would grow so fast. Yes, we have always assumed we would deliver the best quality, and yes, the market is still booming. But still, the past few years sometimes feel like a good Formula 1 race. Constantly in top gear and with as few pit stops as possible towards the finish line. Only that finish line that is far from in sight.
Today, Solar Crew is a true family business. Brother Dennis came on board a few years ago and together the Roks brothers currently form the management of Solar Crew. A logical step; we've quickly made a name for ourselves since 2012. But we did that without a bit of 'own' sales of solar panels. Besides, it was hard for me alone to keep up. In the office, in the field, I was everywhere and nowhere. I really got a need for someone beside me, also a kind of confidant. Someone with whom we could take the next step with Solar Crew. Because Dennis is financially and commercially well versed from his education and work experience, it was a logical step to ask him. He already often helped on Saturdays and in his spare time with the marketing, administration and various business processes. It was really just a natural addition, for which we needed few words.
Two brothers at the helm, then you can already cautiously speak of a family business. But at Solar Crew that's added with some extra vigor; mother Rita works in the administration department and Rian the girlfriend of Kevin, is the face of the front desk. And the warehouse? That's run by father and father-in-law.
The crew.

The sun belongs to everyone.
So does the world.
In October 2020, we took delivery of the key to "our" new building. In renovating the building, we took sustainability as our starting point. Of course our roof is full of solar panels, logical. Besides the ecological aspect, we also thought the aesthetic aspect was important. Our building incorporates all kinds of beautiful, nice and practical things. The interior is one big living room. We left nothing to chance. We paid attention to every detail, in a way that clients have come to expect from us. The offices are practical, but also rich and warm. You can work quietly, there are seating areas for formal or informal discussions, brainstorming rooms, sit-stand desks and of course a very cool canteen or rather 'café', including air hockey table and covered outdoor terrace. SONOS boxes are mounted throughout the building and a TV screen hangs against the wall in almost every room. Above all, it has to feel good to us. Call it "our standard" in practice.

More about Solar Crew
Solar School & Showroom
"Within Solar Crew, we have our own training program (Solar School, ed.). We want to introduce new people to our company and show them how we work. In addition, this way 'the crew' is continuously trained. In our new building we have a real 'practice roof' built on a mezzanine floor. From now on we can really say that we have our own training center. Right now we are also busy setting up a showroom. We want to show people what they are investing in and what the possibilities are. Also in terms of trends and developments. For example, when it comes to battery storage."

More about Kevin
Kevin began his career within event construction. A fairly "unstable sector" when it comes to spreading out work; in the summer you are often extremely busy and in the winter you can barely get ahead. During one such typical winter period, Kevin started thinking about something he really enjoyed doing. After a fair bit of market research, the focus quickly turned to a sector/product where Kevin felt there were plenty of opportunities. Add to that his interest in technology and climate-conscious energy ... and you quickly arrive at solar panels. The ambition to make the Netherlands sustainable was there years ago!
Pioneering without a roadmap
No, there were no schools or knowledge institutes where you could gain knowledge, so evenings filled with hours of research on the Internet. Everything was immediately put into practice, and could pass as 'best practice'. Sustainable (solar) energy was really still in its infancy in the Netherlands. Kevin started as a one-man business working for various clients in the Netherlands and Belgium, selling solar panels. That was really the only way to get into the industry. The need for solar panels quickly took off in the Netherlands. For Kevin the signal to follow through: The one-man business became a company and Kevin quickly gathered a club of great people around him.
Day in and day out, installations were realized. Installations consisting of entire kits -without instructions- that they received from suppliers. According to Kevin, this was true pioneering. The projects would get done no matter what, so the evenings to be home for hot soup could be counted on one hand. In this way, the "orange/yellow" seed was planted for what would soon follow....

More about Dennis
Dennis initially completed a business degree, earned his bachelor's degree and managed in an international company. Via brother Kevin he got involved in solar energy. He and Kevin have been at the helm of Solar Crew for quite a few years now. Both with clearly defined tasks. Dennis directs the (financial) administration and sales, and does the large-scale purchasing himself.
A look to the future
Dennis has a clear view of where Solar Crew stands, and where they are going. It was time for a rebrand; a sleek website with the right tone of voice, and a slightly tougher and tighter image. A key premise of the website; to show what Solar Crew does, and what they do they do well, long lasting and sustainable. The Roks brothers try to let this aspect shine through in everything; from the execution of installations to the appearance to the outside world.
The drive to grow is there at Solar Crew. Dennis thinks this is the time to bet on "New business units. What he means by that is; what they do, they keep doing and expand. And what Solar Crew wasn't doing yet they are going to do. The installation of solar panels will continue in the coming years. As will the service and maintenance branch. The decision to expand the new business branch lies in; solar panels will become the engine of new construction, charging stations, smarthomes and other forms of energy storage. And they are happy to go along with that at Solar Crew.

Inside sales representative
As an indoor sales representative you convert the customer's wish to install solar panels, a home battery or a charging station into an order. From the moment the customer reports to us, you map out the situation and the wishes remotely, make an initial laying plan in the software and already have in your head what the customer's situation looks like. Is the customer serious? Then you make an appointment for a colleague on site. During the appointment he will discuss both theory and practice and map out the installation together with the customer, including how the roofs look and where the inverter could be installed. The information obtained is secured in a CRM/software package and together with your colleague you then make a customized quote for the customer. Of course you follow up with the customer and make sure that the customer converts his interest into a signed order.
You do your work in cooperation with the commercial department and also work closely with the project managers/work planners who have to carry out the sold projects. Within the commercial department we closely follow the trends and developments within our field and you will be given sufficient space to develop yourself further in this respect.
